After getting 7 estimates and meeting with 7 different companies I’m glad I went with DVAC. Whole the process went easy and in a professional way from the start to the end. Austin came to provide an estimate. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Was very patient. David, the owner, was very helpful. He made sure that the work gets done in time and with high quality. All the payment process went easy and smooth. No problems. Alex, the technician, is the hero. He worked so hard and made sure all the duct installed right and meets requirements. We had to replace our old oil furnace with the heat pump. The tricky part was that we wanted it to be in the other side of the room. It required so much custom work. I can’t believe it, Alex built whole this custom duct by hand because the factory wasn’t able to create the duct with the angles we needed. I think the job became more complicated than the guys expecting but the estimate didn’t change and they did everything to make sure we’re satisfied with the job. My furnace quit working. I had never needed to purchase a furnace until recently. I went online to research furnaces that were both efficient and budget friendly. There were a few I had identified but who was I going to have install the furnace? Again I turned to the internet. Three companies came out to my house to give estimates. I had a gut feeling those companies weren’t the ones for me. I went back online and saw an ad for DVAC. Thank goodness I reached out to them. Within 45 minutes a technician (the owner, Dave) was at my door. He was incredibly informative and we talked about my options. I knew I had found the company for me. His pricing was competitive and his customer service was top notch. His visit was on a Saturday. My new furnace was installed on Monday (closed on Sunday). There was no heat in my house so Dave provided space heaters until the installation! DVAC provided text updates and/or phone calls as to when the installers would arrive. It took a short 3.5 hours for the furnace and air conditioning to be up and running. The professionalism, communication and seamless installation gave me much relief knowing I had chosen DVAC. They are a locally owned family business. Thank you DVAC!

David and DVAC handled a large retrofit job for us with difficult requirements. We have a large single-story home with 3 different crawlspaces spaces separated by foundation. We had strong requirements about vent placement and wanted the return vents in the ceiling with supply vents in the floors in specific locations. This meant running a duct from floor to ceiling but our attic only covers part of our house which complicated things further. We also have softwood floors that are tricky to work on. David and his team were very thorough in their initial estimate and explained the pros and cons of different options.  They gave us a fair price for a great system. DVAC wasn’t the cheapest option available but David’s attention to detail and communication were excellent. DVAC was the only bid that took into account proper and safe drilling through our foundation and also offered reasonable approaches to our complex requirements. This meant there were no surprise costs during the install. The install went relatively smoothly though we had to use our second option of closets for running a duct from the crawlspace to the attic. DVAC handled this change with excellent communication and the finished ductwork is out of the way and looks good. David offered to put up studs and drywall around the duct but ...

As good as it gets!  My furnace stopped working and I needed help quickly without overpaying.  I searched for a company that was open on the weekend that had great reviews.  I ended up calling DVAC Heating and Air and talking with David.  David was very informative and understanding of my situation.  Despite needing help fast David extended the current promotion on their best furnace and did not take advantage of my situation.  Technicians come out first thing Monday morning and installed the new furnace. The technicians Alex and Austin arrived on-time that morning.  They were very careful and did a great job.  They tested everything and cleaned up after themselves then afterward I had a nice new quiet furnace that should last for many years to come. We were called by the owner and he was out the next day to give us an estimate and talk about options. The quotation we received was not only the most comprehensive but also the fairest in that we weren’t sold anything we didn’t need. Compared to other estimators that came out from 8 different companies, the representative from DVAC actually knew what he was talking about. I had one estimator from a competing HVAC firm tell me I need a new panel when we had an open 220 V breaker for the AC to plug right into. Another estimator told me that I need to the chimney liner. Yet another estimator told me that I couldn’t place the AC unit where I wanted to and instead would have to put it under my daughter’s bedroom window 150′ away from the furnace.  None of these guys actually did anything other than look at their price list while explaining the non-existent value of their BS service. David from DVAC actually looked at all the vents, calculated air flow, went into the crawl space to look at duct work, evaluated the thermostat, opened up existing equipment to evaluate it and then took 45 minutes to explain the math he was doing and the physics of a heat pump to me. DVAC really helped us out when our forty-year-old furnace broke down at the start of winter. They were out here that evening and we were set up with a new heater by next day! We will continue to use DVAC for our heating and air needs.

They came out quickly, were professional and followed up. We haven’t done major business yet but inclined to use if/when we’re ready.

In needing to replace our 1972 electric furnace with a shiny new heat pump, we looked through Yelp for support. DVAC had strong reviews, so I contacted the company. David replied almost immediately, and placed us on their schedule the following week. Joe visited our home during COVID-19 (thanks to all the essential HVAC workers out there!), inspected our furnace, and scouted the area where the heat pump will likely go. He provided a lot of technology-specific information and answered our questions. He was also very patient toward our 75-pound dog who gets a little crazy around new people. We ended up going with another company for a combination of reasons that have nothing to do with DVAC. DVAC’s bid was very competitive, and I do not hesitate to recommend them for those who need HVAC installation estimates.

Joe showed up in a mask,  professional and friendly. Joe took a good look at the existing water heater, gas meter, and was great at answering all of our questions. I liked the detailed estimate continuing with a tank water heater or changing to a tankless system. DVAC certainly earned a 5-star rating for their estimate.

We have an old 1939 home with an old oil furnace. In the middle of the winter, with masks, the guys came on time to give us an estimate. After the “go ahead.” They came in and replaced our dirty furnace with an excellent Carrier gas one, with beautifully done, shiny ducting to connect everything. Alex’s, who did the install, had great attention to detail, maintained distance, and wore a mark the entire time. He is a great pro, and you would be lucky to have him working in your house. Joe kept the communication flowing, and even it was high season, they worked us in their busy schedule and got it done at a great price. Our lungs appreciate the clean, crisp toasty air.
