We are selling our house and the buyers wanted the furnace and AC serviced and inspected before closing date. One of the heating elements was not working and I needed to get everything done in a few weeks time. I called my regular HVAC company and it was two weeks just for diagnostics without repair. I called several other places with high reviews on yelp and they were professional but kind of evasive when it came to getting back to me on scheduling. I called DVAC and spoke with Kevin. He was extremely professional and helpful. Understood my plight and was able to get me in on a cancellation. He also called back to confirm and made sure I had the right time. He told me the price upfront and I received a text confirmation. Our technician Austin, was running late and called me an hour before my scheduled appointment to let me know. Austin came with mask on and super professional! He was thorough and efficient. He spent extra time just going over every possible scenario on why the one heating element wasn’t working. He then went out of his way to make sure I got the part ordered before my deadline. I have built four homes personally and my family is in the commercial building industry. We work …
We were smelling gas in the living room. PSE came and confirmed the leak, plus discovered another one in the kitchen with our stove connection 🙁 DVAC Heating & Air fixed the leaky valve for the gas insert fireplace and the connection to the gas stove. DVAC Heating & Air responded quickly to my request, came on time next morning, fixed the issue perfectly the first time (passed inspection from city with flying colors), and their prices were very competitive. Would do business with them again. (even I would rather not have another gas leak any time soon! 😉 )
I finally decided to look into central air conditioning this year. My poor dog has already been panting at 70+ degrees, and I could see many more days of 90+ degrees this summer. I called up several companies, and David really stood out for his responsiveness and expertise. He patiently answered all of my questions – and I had a lot – and worked really hard to give me multiple options tailored to my needs. He’s now on my speed dial to help keep my house running at the right temperature.
Austin turned up on schedule, diagnosed the problem, presented great options to deal with the issues and completed the work on our HVAC right then and there. Very efficient and very reasonably priced compared to many others I checked out.
I was really happy with Austin, he is a great guy and will do right by you. My HVAC unit was leaking water but still salvageable, and he gave me good instructions on keeping it running. Great service and good advice, that’s all I want from a service visit and that’s what I got.
Austin was great. He showed up on time and was very patient when I asked a bunch of questions as a new homeowner. Service was efficient, and COVID safety measures were followed. Very happy with my service!!
Our furnace stopped working right before the winter snow began and another company told us we needed a brand new furnace at a $5k price tag. DVAC came in and did everything they could to get our heat back on and took care of us as if we were family. It felt like they truly cared about us as human beings and did everything they could to get everything back up and running, without having to spend $5k for a brand new furnace. Super appreciative to the team that helped us get warm this winter!
The team was highly responsive and went above and beyond to deliver. I was impressed by the professionalism that we received. I would highly recommend them for a heater replacement or servicing.
After getting 7 estimates and meeting with 7 different companies I’m glad i went with DVAC. Whole the process went easy and in a professional way from the start to the end. Austin came to provide an estimate. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Was very patient. David, the owner, was very helpful. He made sure that the work gets done in time and with high quality. All the payment process went easy and smooth. No problems. Alex, the technician, is the hero. He worked so hard and made sure all the duct installed right and meets requirements. We had to replace our old oil furnace with the heat pump. The tricky part was that we wanted it to be in the other side of the room. It required so much custom work. I can’t believe it, Alex built whole this custom duct by hand because the factory wasn’t able to create the duct with the angles we needed. I think the job became more complicated than the guys expecting but the estimate didn’t change and they did everything to make sure we’re satisfied with the job. We’re planning to build a house in the near future. I’m not going to look any other company. This guys are awesome. If you want to get the job done right …
My furnace quit working. I had never needed to purchase a furnace until recently. I went online to research furnaces that were both efficient and budget friendly. There were a few I had identified but who was I going to have install the furnace? Again I turned to the internet. Three companies came out to my house to give estimates. I had a gut feeling those companies weren’t the ones for me. I went back online and saw an ad for DVAC. Thank goodness I reached out to them. Within 45 minutes a technician (the owner, Dave) was at my door. He was incredibly informative and we talked about my options. I knew I had found the company for me. His pricing was competitive and his customer service was top notch. His visit was on a Saturday. My new furnace was installed on Monday (closed on Sunday). There was no heat in my house so Dave provided space heaters until the installation! DVAC provided text updates and/or phone calls as to when the installers would arrive. It took a short 3.5 hours for the furnace and air conditioning to be up and running. The professionalism, communication and seamless installation gave me much relief knowing I had chosen DVAC. They are a locally owned family business. Thank you DVAC!
David and DVAC handled a large retrofit job for us with difficult requirements. We have a large single-story home with 3 different crawlspaces spaces separated by foundation. We had strong requirements about vent placement and wanted the return vents in the ceiling with supply vents in the floors in specific locations. This meant running a duct from floor to ceiling but our attic only covers part of our house which complicated things further. We also have softwood floors that are tricky to work on. David and his team were very thorough in their initial estimate and explained the pros and cons of different options. They gave us a fair price for a great system. DVAC wasn’t the cheapest option available but David’s attention to detail and communication were excellent. DVAC was the only bid that took into account proper and safe drilling through our foundation and also offered reasonable approaches to our complex requirements. This meant there were no surprise costs during the install. The install went relatively smoothly though we had to use our second option of closets for running a duct from the crawlspace to the attic. DVAC handled this change with excellent communication and the finished ductwork is out of the way and looks good. David offered to put up studs and drywall around the duct but …
